Capsicum annuum (Paprika) Midas

Capsicum annuum (Paprika) Midas

Midas is a cross between a pepper and a thick-walled chili, combining the best attributes of both types.

The yellow, fleshy fruits are medium-sized, very fleshy and have a strong taste, but without heat.

Midas grows compactly, is very productive and early.

A real enrichment as a snack, in salads or all other vegetable dishes.

Midas also grows well in a sufficiently large pot (25 cm +).

Sowing from February to March at 22-24 °C, planting out from mid-May at a distance of 40 x 60 cm. Harvest from mid-August.

Always keep evenly moist, but not too wet. Fertilize regularly and use humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil. Peppers need warmth. Best location: full sun facing south or in a foil greenhouse.

Peppers are sensitive to frost.

Height about 60 cm outdoors, higher in the greenhouse.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
