Capsicum annuum (Peperoni) Orange Koral
Capsicum annuum (Peperoni) Orange Koral
Early, very hot cherry pepper.
Koral is a cherry pepperoni and can be classified as very hot at around 30,000 Scoville.
For peppers, the plants bear round fruits quite early, which are about 2-2.5 cm thick and turn from green to orange.
Koral is well suited to outdoors in sheltered and warm locations.
The fruits can be harvested green or orange, but they taste more intense when fully ripe.
Peppers need warmth. Best location: full sun facing south or in a foil greenhouse.
Always keep evenly moist, but not too wet. Fertilize regularly and use humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil.Â
Sowing takes place from the beginning of January to the beginning of March at 20-25 ° C with warm pre-culture indoors. Plant in the greenhouse or outdoors from mid-May at a distance of 50 x 50 cm. Depending on the cultivation method, the harvest takes place from the end of June.
Peppers are sensitive to frost.
Height about 50 cm outdoors, higher in the greenhouse.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
