Beautiful, reddish, flat pumpkin weighing 2 – 4 kg.

It’s great as a soup vegetable.

Garbo comes in colors ranging from orange-reddish-terracotta to a deep red. Sometimes this interesting coloring makes it extremely decorative.

In terms of shape, it is a kind of smaller Rouge Vif, but comparatively more strongly ribbed.

We selected Garbo from the South American variety Moranga exposecao. Since he really convinced us that it was an improvement, he is now replacing it with us.

Ripening time: 100 days.

Moderate vine behavior.

This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.

Pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.

Optimum germination at 24-30^o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.

The planting distance for pumpkins depends on the climbing behavior.

Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
