Cucurbita moschata Panther F1
Panther is a completely new type of nutmeg, high-yielding, with fruits weighing around 4-5 kg, more attractive than Muscade de Provence, but does not have the very high carotene content.
The fruits are very attractive and keep well. Bred by Bobby Seeds.
Ripening time: 105 days.
Panther F1 is trailing and requires around 2-3 square meters of space.
Cucurbita moschata require a lot of heat and is therefore better to be pre-cultivated. Varieties with a ripening time of up to 110 days also thrive in cold regions.
Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.
The planting distance for pumpkins depends on the trailing behavior.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
