Sugar pumpkin, excellent nutmeg, teardrop-shaped.
Sweet Berry, the sweetness from the berry is quite reliable and productive, the fruit size is on average 1.5-2.5 kg, a really good household portion size.
The fruits, like those of the Muskade de Provence, change color from green to ocher. A really first-class variety, a C. moschata, which usually grows well in Central Europe.
Ripening time: 110 days.
Sweet Berry is trailing moderately.
Cucurbita moschata require a lot of heat and is therefore better to be pre-cultivated. Varieties with a ripening time of up to 110 days also thrive in cold regions.
Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.
The planting distance for pumpkins depends on the trailing behavior.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
