Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Black Cherry

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Black Cherry

Black Cherry bears many small, dark purple-red fruits on long panicles. The panicles are abundant and the fruits are very aromatic and sweet.

Plant height approx. 2 m, very vigorous, requires staking.

Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to September

Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.
