Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Whippersnapper BIO
Pink-red, orange flamed plum tomato.
Very early bush tomato with pink-red, slightly oval fruits weighing around 15 grams. Ideal for large pots, hanging baskets, raised beds. Doesn’t have to be pruned, but then it grows quite massively.
The variety comes from England and is very popular there. Very nice tomato for sufficiently large containers and hanging baskets, also great in raised beds. Plant height up to 40 cm, shoot length up to 130 cm.
Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to September
Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
