Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Dafne F1

High-yielding, large salad tomato.

Dafne F1 is a large tomato that shows good results both in protected cultivation and in the open field.

The red fruits are quite heavy at 120 – 140 g and are suitable for salads.

The fruits are very resistant to bursting. Dafne F1 is resistant to nematodes and Fusarium.

We recommend Dafne F1 as a replacement for the Vanessa F1, which is no longer available.

Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to September.

Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.

 

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
