Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Green Zebra BIO

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Green Zebra BIO

Green Zebra is an almost forgotten rarity, whose striped fruits remain green to green-yellow when ripe.

The flesh is light green and juicy, with a delicate taste. The shell is thin, yet burst-resistant.

Green Zebra ripens medium late. Planting at a distance of 80 x 60 cm, stick tomato, height up to 2 m, harvest from the beginning of August.

Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to September.

Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.
