Extraordinary, small white decorative pumpkin.
Casperita F1 PMT is a unique Baby Boo type strain. Weighing around 300 to 600 g, Casperita F1 is around three times larger than the well-known variety.
The fruits are whiter, more beautifully ribbed and much more uniform. In addition, Casperita F1 has a genetic mildew tolerance and a high tolerance against mosaic virus.
The white color remains for a long time. Like all white pumpkins, Casperita F1 should be stored in a dark place to maintain its white color.
Great for decoration, but also suitable for filling and cooking. Casperita F1 is also suitable in the kitchen as a portion pumpkin, whole, stuffed and cooked.Â
Ripening time: 90 days.
Casperita F1 grows bushy.Â
C. pepo grows well on warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.
For Casperita F1 we ​​recommend 1 square meter per plant.
