Interesting, orange-brown colored fruits with pretty warts.

Very attractive appearance, brown-orange with warts. The plants have a fairly good yield. The fruit weight is between 2.5 and 4 kg.

Vigorous, tolerant to powdery mildew, which only appears here later.

The variety is suitable for consumption, for example in pumpkin soup.

Ripening time: 90 days.

Grizzly Bear F1 is growing vigorously.

C. pepo grows well on warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.

Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.

For Grizzly Bear F1 we recommend around 2 square meters per plant.

Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.

 

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
