Cucurbita pepo Harlequin F1

Cucurbita pepo Harlequin F1

Green and white striped, pretty acorn.

Harlequin F1 produces well-shaped, rounded, typical acorn pumpkins in creamy white with green stripes. The fruits, which weigh around 1100 grams, are produced in abundance and the plant grows in a bushy, compact manner.

Acorn squashes are good for stuffing and cooking whole. In the USA they are served halved with maple syrup.

Harlequin F1 is an alternative to Sweet Dumpling, as it bears much earlier and better.

Great for stuffing and cooking.

Ripening time: 90 days.

Harlequin F1 forms short tendrils.

C. pepo grows well on warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
