Butterfly F1, Italian origin convinced with their 2-4 kg fruits in many respects.
On the one hand, the slightly ribbed fruits are decorative, and on the other hand, the flesh is quite dark and contains carotene.
Another breeding success is the compact growth.
Ripening time: 100-105 days.
Butterfly F1 grows compactly.
Cucurbita moschata require a lot of heat and is therefore better to be pre-cultivated. Varieties with a ripening time of up to 110 days also thrive in cold regions.
Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.
For Butterfly F1 we ​​recommend around 2 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.
