20 Karat Gold F1 bears very beautiful, rounded fruits weighing around 7-9 kg. The fruits are deep orange and are very uniform. The stems of this variety are strong and stable, and the plants grow semi-compact, meaning they have little vining.
20 carat gold F1 has powdery mildew resistance PMT), powdery mildew infestation occurs later.
Suitable for carving, painting and as a decorative pumpkin, can also be used as a soup pumpkin.
Ripening time: 90-95 days.
20 Karat Gold F1 vines moderately and grows semi-compact.Â
C. pepo grows well on warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.
