Cucurbita pepo Warty Gnome F1 PMT

A new bicolor variety, yellow, dark orange striped.

Very attractively colored, flat-round pumpkin with slight warts. 15 – 20 cm in diameter, weighs about 2 kg. Very robust and hard-shelled, long lasting.

Compact growth with good yield, around 5 – 6 fruits per plant. The pulp is of inferior quality and is therefore not suitable for consumption.

Warty Gnome F1 has a high decorative value, the flesh is edible, but not comparable to that of other pumpkins and not recommended.

Ripening time: 95 days.

Warty Gnome F1 grows bushy.

C. pepo grows well on warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivation and planting with sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.

Optimum germination at 24-30o C. When sowing stick the pointed side of the seed down or lay them flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place in a brighter and cooler place.

For Warty Gnome F1 we ​​recommend approx. 1 square meter of space per plant.

Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, lice, powdery mildew, virus.
