Cauliflower with attractive, purple, densely filled heads weighing around 1 kg. The bright purple flowers fade to soft pink when cooked.
A variety that ripens quite early, from sowing to harvest you can expect around 90 days. Di Sicilia Violetto is quite cold tolerant, succession sets are possible and common for a longer harvest.
Nutrient-requiring, like all types of cabbage.
The harvest takes place from mid-June to November depending on the sowing date. Sowing takes place from the beginning of March to mid-July with pre-cultivation, about 4 weeks after sowing, planting outdoors at a distance of 60 x 50 cm. Direct sowing is easily possible.
