Brassica oleracea (Red cabbage) Kalibos

Brassica oleracea (Red cabbage) Kalibos

Pointed red cabbage with particular raw food suitability.

Kalibos is a popular pointed red cabbage that is particularly suitable for raw food. When cooked it loses some of its color. The heads are loosely layered, similar to white pointed cabbage, and almost entirely without a stalk.

Kalibos is characterized by an excellent taste, another advantage of Kalibos is its short cultivation time, head weight approx. 1-2 kg.

The harvest takes place from the end of July to October.

Sowing takes place from February to June with pre-cultivation, then planting at a distance of 45 x 40 cm.

Red cabbage is one of the heavy eaters that needs to be supplied with sufficient nutrients.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
