Raphanus sativus (Radish) Teko

Raphanus sativus (Radish) Teko

Uniform, early ripening outdoor radishes.

Outdoor radish with very early maturity and uniform development. The burst- and fur-resistant tuber is spherical with a fine root. Teko is very fast growing and early maturing. The strength of the variety is its possible early cultivation with a harvest until the end of June. Teko is less suitable for summer and autumn.

Sowing is carried out outdoors and in the greenhouse from the end of February to the beginning of September. Direct sowing in rows, 20 cm apart, 3 cm thin in the row. The harvest takes place from the end of April to October.

If you sow seeds every 3 weeks, you will always have fresh radishes.

Radishes should always be well watered and not harvested overripe and should never be left dry as this leads to spiciness and woodiness.
