Raphanus sativus (Rettich/Daikon) Alabaster F1

Raphanus sativus (Rettich/Daikon) Alabaster F1

Mild, large, white radish.

Alabaster F1 forms white, long, cylindrical roots about 40-45 cm long. As a year-round variety, it is suitable for cultivation from spring to autumn; it takes around 75 to 85 days from sowing to harvest.

Sowing outdoors from March to August, spacing 20-30 cm between rows and 15-20 cm apart. The harvest takes place from around the end of May to October, depending on the sowing date.

Radishes should always be well watered and not harvested overripe and should never be left dry as this leads to spiciness and woodiness.
