Raphanus sativus (Rettich/Daikon) Prelude F1

Raphanus sativus (Rettich/Daikon) Prelude F1

Uniforme, red radish specialty.  This red radish variety is a novelty and special feature among radishes.

The beets have the best quality and good taste when they are around 20-25 cm long and around 3-4 cm in diameter. This variety reaches harvest maturity quite quickly, so sowing in batches is recommended. Bolting and flowering can occur at low temperatures.

The seeds are sown outdoors from the end of March to August, and also in early March from the beginning of March. Distance between rows 20 cm, within rows 10 cm. The harvest takes place from around the end of May to October, depending on the sowing date.

Radishes should always be well watered and not harvested overripe and should never be left dry as this leads to spiciness and woodiness.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
