Pisum sativum (Sugar pea) Golden Sweet

Historic sugar peas with yellow pods. An old variety from America.

Only known yellow-podded sugar pea, very productive. Flower color violet.

Suitable for all kinds of vegetable dishes, including wok dishes.

 The plants should be piled up and require support.

Sugar peas should be harvested continuously to ensure a rich harvest. If you let the pods hang until they are fully ripe, you can also harvest them as marsh peas.

Sowing takes place from mid-March to early June as direct sowing at a distance of 30-40 cm, in rows 3-5 cm, sowing depth 3-5 cm.

Good in mixed culture with cabbage, radish and early potatoes. Do not cultivate together with onions.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
