Phaseolus vulgaris (Green bean) Vitalis BIO

Phaseolus vulgaris (Green bean) Vitalis BIO

Vitalis is a dark green, medium-early runner bean, approx. 2 cm wide and 20 cm long.

Ideal for fresh consumption as garden vegetables and in salads, but also suitable for freezing. Medium early variety. Equally suitable for growing in a greenhouse or outdoors. The growth of Vitalis is slower and therefore more steady than other varieties – this guarantees plenty of first-choice pods. Also suitable for grain harvesting, the grain is white.

Resistant to the bean mosaic virus and very robust in growth.

Sowing: Direct sowing outdoors from mid-May to the end of June, row sowing on the pole, between the rows 100 cm, in the row 40-60 cm, place about 6-8 grains on each rod. Harvest period: From end of July to October.

Fertilization generally not required. Avoid waterlogging and damp tillage. Later piling up is recommended.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed in grams.
Approximately 2-3 seeds per gram.
