Beta vulgaris (Beetroot) Hula Hoop

Colorful beets in great colors.

A colorful mix of the individual varieties Tonda di Chioggia, Lola, Burpee Golden and Avalanche. Hula Hoop brings a tasty change to the garden and to the table.

Beetroot must be sown directly, it does not tolerate transplanting.  Sowing takes place from April to July in the open field, sow thinly in rows, for beets at a distance of 25-40 cm and in the row about 10 cm or separate, as leaf lettuce 15-20 cm and in the row continuously at a distance of 10 cm, after germination separate to a single seedling. The beet is harvested about 60 to 70 days after sowing.

 

Supplied as raw (normal) seed in grams.
Approximately 80 seeds per gram.
