Early, uniform Nantes carrot.
Marquette is an early and uniform, cylindrically shaped carrot with very good taste and beautiful color. Marquette also has good storage properties.
Sow directly outdoors, sowing depth 0.5 cm. Row spacing: 30-40 cm, in the row 3-4 cm. To protect against carrot flies, choose open, windy locations or cover with nets, no fresh fertilization. Carrots love sunny locations and light, permeable, nutrient-rich soils. The harvest takes place from July to September.
Only grow carrots in the same place every 6 years. Grows well with corn, tomatoes, onions, lettuce and potatoes.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed in grams.
