This variety, also known as Platte Witte Mei, is a fast-growing, flat-round, white turnip that can also have slightly green shoulders depending on the cultivation conditions.

Lovers harvest the turnips as young as possible and use them both raw and cooked. The fine, white flesh is flavorful and slightly spicy. Suitable for both spring and autumn harvests. The turnips of this variety are of the best quality with a diameter of around 6-7 cm.

Sowing takes place in April/May or in July/August as direct sowing in rows, distance 30-35 cm, in the row 10-15 cm. Harvesting takes place from the beginning of June or in autumn 6-7 weeks after sowing.
