Safe to grow, medium early variety with an excellent, extra-sweet taste.

Because of these properties, Tasty Sweet has made a name for itself and is now one of the standard varieties of sweet corn. The golden yellow cobs can be stored refrigerated for a few days without losing quality. Sweet corn must be harvested when milk is ripe, otherwise the sugar turns into starch. Medium-early variety with “all-round talent”, copes well with a wide range of conditions.

The seeds are usually sown directly outdoors from May onwards, 15-20 cm in rows and 60-80 cm between rows. Depending on the sowing date, the harvest takes place from July to October.

Care tip for corn: The harvest of sweet corn can be brought forward by covering it with fleece or perforated foil. It is important to sow in warm, not too wet soil so that the plants germinate and grow. It makes sense to sow in 2-3 sets in order to be able to harvest corn cobs continuously.
