Cucumis sativus (Gherkin) Karlos F1

Early, purely female-flowering, resistant pickling cucumber.

Karlos F1 is a smooth pickling cucumber that flowers purely female and therefore sets fruit early and abundantly. The fruits can be harvested from mini to around 12 cm long and are completely bitter-free. Karlos F1 is multi-resistant against, among other things, cucumber scabies, powdery mildew and viral diseases.

Sowing takes place indoors at 22-25 ° C from March to May, followed by pre-cultivation and planting, direct sowing with 2-3 grains possible from the beginning of May. The planting distance is approximately 150 x 30 cm. The harvest takes place continuously from around July to October.

Pickling cucumbers are gratefull to a good and balanced supply of nutrients as well as regular watering in dry times assuring a continuous and rich harvest.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
