Cucumis sativus (Gherkin) Little Leaf BIO

This variety owes its name to the leaves, which are only about half the size, making harvesting much easier.

Little Leaf is an American breed with convincing performance. The robustness and health is based on a variety of resistances, including powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus, bacteriosis, leaf spot diseases and many more. The fruits formed are excellent pickling cucumbers.

Sowing at 22-25 ° C from March to May, then pre-cultivation and planting, direct sowing with 2-3 grains possible from the beginning of May. Planting/seed spacing 150 x 30 cm. The harvest takes place continuously from around July to October.

Pickling cucumbers are gratefull to a good and balanced supply of nutrients as well as regular watering in dry times assuring a continuous and rich harvest.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
