Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender)

Commonly known as English lavender or true lavender, is a perennial herb.

The leaves are narrow, elongated, and typically 2,5 to 5 cm long. They have a silvery-green color and are covered in fine hairs, giving them a slightly fuzzy texture. Small, tubular flowers that are usually lavender-blue. These flowers are arranged in dense, spike-like inflorescences at the tips of long stems.

Renowned for its sweet, floral, and slightly herbal scent, which is more delicate compared to other lavender species. The essential oil extracted from its flowers is highly prized in aromatherapy.
