Tanacetum vulgare (Tansy)

It has erect, stout stems that are often branched and covered with fine hairs. The leaves are deeply divided into toothed segments, giving them a fern-like appearance.

The flowers are small, button-like, and bright yellow in color. They are densely clustered into flat-topped, terminal inflorescences (flower clusters) that bloom from July to September.

The plant has a strong, distinctive odor which is somewhat camphoraceous and bitter.

Height: 120 cm.
