The tall, erect inflorescences are made up of numerous tiny flowers that form dense, feathery plumes. These plumes are deep crimson or burgundy-red, creating a dramatic contrast against the green foliage.

Amaranthus can be used in many creative ways. Excellent for bouquets or woven into floral arrangements. Easy to grow and easy to care.

The thickly textured flowers flower all summer, thrive in heat and humidity in well-drained soil, and make good cut flowers. An excellent filler can be combined very well in bouquets.
