Chrysanthemum maximum Alaska

Chrysanthemum maximum Alaska

Commonly known as Shasta Daisy. Large, striking white flowers with yellow centers, typical of daisies, usually about 7.5 to 10 cm in diameter. The petals are pure white, arranged in a radial fashion around a golden-yellow central disc.

Shasta Daisies prefer full sun but can tolerate light shade, though flowering may be reduced in lower light conditions. Regular watering is important, especially in dry periods, but the plant is relatively drought-tolerant once established.

Extended flowering period if deadheaded (removal of spent flowers).

Height: 80 cm.
