A low-growing, clump-forming herbaceous perennial with green, softly hairy dissected foliage.

Dark purple upward-facing, pointed flowers with yellow centres appear from March to April.

Flowers are followed by silky seed heads.

Suitable for outdoor cultivation and flowering two weeks earlier than the traditional varieties.

Recommended potsizes 9-12 cm pots.

Height: 30 cm.

 

Supplied as cleaned, raw (normal) seed in grams.
Approximately 400 seeds per gram.
