Brassica rapa ssp. chinensis (Pak Choi) Bok Choy BIO
Brassica rapa ssp. chinensis (Pak Choi) Bok Choy BIO
Fast growing Asian vegetable.
Easy-to-grow Asian vegetable with dark green, spoon-like leaves on long white stems. Short development time, should be harvested as young as possible. Good, mildly spicy aroma, slightly more intense in taste than Pak Choi. Very good for wok dishes.
Sowing takes place from April to June with pre-cultivation at 16 to 20 ° C, then planting outdoors. Direct sowing possible from the end of May to the beginning of July. The planting distance is approx. 25-30 x 35 cm. The harvest takes place around 8 weeks after sowing.
The culture of pak choi is similar to that of brassicas, but pak choi does not tolerate any frost, so it should only be planted after the last frosts and harvested before the first autumn frosts.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed in grams.
Approximately 400 seeds per gram.
