Yellow-green leaf chard.
Compact, fast-growing chard for fall cultivation. Plants have compact, upright growth and dark green, leathery leaves on white stems. Jessica weighs approximately 0.7-1 kg and can be cut as a whole. Recommended cultivation outdoors from July in successive batches for harvest September to November/December. Also suitable for cold greenhouses as a secondary crop for harvest from the end of January.
Sowing takes place from the beginning of July as direct sowing outdoors, placing 2-3 seeds at a distance of 30 x 40 cm. Pre-cultivation indoors and planting are also possible. Harvest period: approx. 8-10 weeks after sowing.
Chard needs a good supply of nutrients.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed in grams.
Approximately 60 seeds per gram.
