Intensely dark red, mildly aromatic onion.

Karmen is a dark red specialty. The medium-late, slightly flat-round onions are intensely red both inside and out. Karmen stores very well. The onion weight is approximately 110 grams. From seed to harvest it takes approximately 120-230 days.

Sow directly outdoors in rows from February to April. In the row approx. 8-10 cm, between the rows 25-30 cm. Fully ripe onions are harvested from the beginning/mid of August.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed in grams.
Approximately 300 seeds per gram.
