Tumble-weed, this everlasting plant makes a great florist’s filler.

The flowers open green and with the rest of the plant turns red in late summer early autumn. The whole top of the plant is usable. Used like moss in floral decorations.

Best directseeded in warm soil for good germination. At first the plant is a very slow grower, then, as flowering time approaches, it leaps into action and grows explosively.
