Loosely tufted, clump-forming annual grass, with narrow, linear, flat mid-green leaves, turning yellow in autumn.

Produces light and airy pale green flowers on hair-fine sprays, resembling a fireworks sparkler, early to late summer and autumn.

Prefers fairly fertile, well-drained soil.

Plant early in the spring until midsummer, for a harvest 8 to 16 weeks later.

Due to excellent basal branching, you will harvest many branches per plant.

Because of its sturdy long stems with fresh green leaves and excellent vase life, Fontaine is very good to use as a bouquet filler or as a playful ingredient in arrangements.

Height: 60-80 cm (24-32″).

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
