Cucumis hirsutus

Cucumis hirsutus

Larger than C. myriocarpus, smaller than C. africanus, and softer than both of these varieties.

Long durability and keeps the color longer.

Moderate climbing behavior.

Cucumis hirsutus are purely ornamental fruits.

A pre-culture with sowing from March in the greenhouse, followed by planting, brings the best results.

Outdoor cultivation is possible, preferably on mulch film.

We recommend hanging the tendrils on a fence: the fruits stay clean and are easier to harvest.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
