Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Gigantomo
Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Gigantomo
One of the largest tomatoes in the world.
Gigantomo produces flat-round, red beef tomatoes that weigh up to 1,200 grams. Specialists also create even larger specimens.
More importantly, the fruits are very tasty.
Gigantomo grows both in the greenhouse and outdoors and should definitely be supported and trained regularly. Large fruits require support so that they do not fall.
Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to October.
Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.
Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
