Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Purple Calabash BIO

Very aromatic, historic beef tomato.

Historic beef tomato with a long cultivation history.

The large mahogany-purple-colored and ribbed fruits weigh around 200 grams and are very aromatic.

With medium early maturity, it can also be grown outdoors in normal locations.

Considered to be less susceptible to late blight.

Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to October.

Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
