Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) St. Pierre BIO

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) St. Pierre BIO

Productive red stick tomato.

The fruits are large, round, fleshy and of good taste.

It is suitable for both greenhouse and protected crops.

St. Pierre ripens medium early and the fruits are well suited for processing. Fruit weight about 170-300 g.

Good neighbor to lettuce, radishes, brassicas, but does not go well with potatoes, fennel and peas.

Sow flat, prick out or repot once and plant deeper each time.

Sow at 20-25° C from February to the end of March, then pre-cultivate from February to April, plant outdoors after the last frost. The harvest takes place from the end of July to October.

Tomatoes love sunny and wind-protected locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants have high water needs. Never water the plants with tap-cold water. The water should at least be at room temperature. Always ensure that the leaves remain dry so that tomato rot has less chance.
