Cucumis melo (Melon) Emir F1

Cucumis melo (Melon) Emir F1

New breeding for cooler growing regions.

This healthy and vigorous variety was bred specifically for the cooler growing regions in Central to Northern Europe.

The plants thrive reliably in warm and sunny places; the oval fruits are gray-green on the outside and orange on the inside when fully ripe.

The aroma and taste are excellent when fully ripe.

Melons grow moderately and require around 1-2 square meters per plant.

Melons enjoy a mulching film.

In a nice and warm summer, the pulp contains more sugar than in a cold summer.

The seeds are sown indoors from the beginning of April at 24-28 ° C directly with 1-2 seeds in the small pot (do not keep the pots too moist) or from mid-May outdoors in a warm location. The harvest takes place in warm locations from mid-July.

Possible pests: lice, mice, powdery mildew.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
