Early Moonbeam is the earliest yellow-fleshed watermelon and veryn sweet.

Specially bred for cooler growing conditions, this variety impresses with a manageable size of around 3 kg and an excellent taste with a high sugar content.

Early Moonbeam is a recommendation for anyone who wants to try out the otherwise demanding melon culture.

The harvest success and the sugar content of the fruits depend on warmth and sun. Melons need a warm location.

Melons grow moderately and require around 1-2 square meters per plant.

Melons enjoy a mulching film.

In a nice and warm summer, the pulp contains more sugar than in a cold summer.

The seeds are sown indoors from the beginning of April at 24-28 ° C directly with 1-2 seeds in the small pot (do not keep the pots too moist) or from mid-May outdoors in a warm location.

Possible pests: lice, mice, powdery mildew, mildew, viral diseases.
