Alcea rosea Chater’s White

Alcea rosea Chater’s White

Tall, towering flower spikes, densely packed with double blooms, make it an excellent focal point in flower beds, especially in cottage and country-style gardens.

For abundant flowering, a place in full sun is a prerequisite. More resistant to rust disease with sufficient food. When sown early it will flower the first year.

Alcea rosea ‘Chater’s’ is commonly used as a background plant in flower beds due to its height. It is perfect for cottage gardens, along fences, walls, or at the back of borders. Its vertical growth adds height and structure to the landscape.

Given its tall, upright growth, Chater’s hollyhock may require staking, especially in windy areas, to prevent the tall stems from falling over.

Height: 200 cm.

Supplied as cleaned seed for easier sowing.
