Biennial, colorful border plant, the stem of which is covered with large single flowers of a unique dark maroon colour.

Place in a sheltered spot, otherwise support is necessary. For abundant flowering, a place in full sun is a prerequisite.

More resistant to rust disease with sufficient food. When sown early it will flower the first year.
