Aquilegia chrysantha Yellow Queen

Pure lemon-yellow flowers with long spurs.

Blooming from May to July, its stiff, highly branched stems bear 5 to 15 flowers at their tips. The foliage is tender green, rounded, and often divided into two or three lobes.

The Yellow Queen Columbine is a perennial with excellent hardiness. It thrives in partial shade or non-scorching sunlight, in rich, humus-bearing soil that remains moist.
