Beta vulgaris (Chard) White Silver 2

A broad-stemmed, white chard that is preferred as stem chard. In addition to the stems, which are prepared similarly to kohlrabi, the strong green leaves can also be prepared like spinach. White Silver 2 is very productive.

Sowing takes place from the beginning of July as direct sowing outdoors, placing 2-3 seeds at a distance of 30 x 40 cm. Pre-cultivation indoors and planting are also possible. Harvest period: approx. 8-10 weeks after sowing.

Chard needs a good supply of nutrients.

 

Supplied as raw (normal) seed in grams.
Approximately 60 seeds per gram.
