Beta vulgaris (Beetroot) Egyptian Flat Round BIO

Beta vulgaris (Beetroot) Egyptian Flat Round BIO

Early beetroot.

A vigorous and early variety with a very good, sweet taste. Dark red throughout without rings.

Beetroot can be grown in sets and needs well-cared-for garden soil that should not be freshly fertilized and consistent moisture.

Beetroot must be sown directly, it does not tolerate transplanting.  Sowing takes place from April to July in the open field, sow thinly in rows, for beets at a distance of 25-40 cm and in the row about 10 cm or separate, as leaf lettuce 15-20 cm and in the row continuously at a distance of 10 cm, after germination separate to a single seedling. The beet is harvested about 60 to 70 days after sowing.
