Brassica oleracea (Brussels sprout) Red Ball

Brassica oleracea (Brussels sprout) Red Ball

Decorative and mild red Brussels sprouts.

Red Ball bears purple-red, small florets with a mild, slightly sweet taste. In terms of cultivation, it is no different from other types of Brussels sprouts; the florets change color in autumn and cool temperatures favor the coloring. Should be harvested before severe frosts.

Sowing takes place from the beginning of March to May with pre-cultivation, then planting at a distance of 50 x 50 cm. The harvest takes place from end of September to the end of December.

Flower Sprout is one of the heavy feeders that needs to be supplied with sufficient nutrients.

Supplied as raw (normal) seed.
